About Fade Cancer
Fade Cancer was founded by Sean Casey, a 20-year barber, barbershop owner, and educator, who was diagnosed with stage III Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in February 2018. During his fight against cancer, Sean faced the challenges of paying medical bills while searching for a way to support others going through similar battles. This journey inspired the creation of Fade Cancer—a movement that combines health awareness, community support, and the power of the hair industry.
Our Mission:
Fade Cancer aims to raise awareness about cancer, provide support to those in need, and give back to the community. With every T-shirt sold, a portion of the proceeds is donated to Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, known for its exceptional care for children battling cancer.
The Barber Academy by Sean Casey:
Sean extended his mission of giving back through The Barber Academy by Sean Casey, where he educates and inspires the next generation of barbers. The academy regularly integrates community-focused events, such as Haircuts and Head Shaves Week, where students gain real-world experience while giving back to those in need. These events support Fade Cancer's mission, combining barber education with charitable efforts.
Why Golisano Children's Hospital?
Sean chose Golisano Children's Hospital because of its unwavering dedication to providing world-class medical care for young cancer fighters. Having experienced the importance of support firsthand, Sean is committed to helping as many individuals and families as possible.
What We Offer:
Fade Cancer offers customized T-shirts that allow people to honor and support loved ones—be it a family member, a friend, or even themselves. These shirts not only spread awareness but also directly contribute to making a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer. Additionally, through community events at the academy, Fade Cancer brings together education, awareness, and action.
